The window for JEE Main Form Correction for April 2020 session will be open from March 8 – 12, 2020, any discrepancies in the information provided by the candidates can be corrected during March 8 to March 12.

The JEE Main Application form for April session has been released by the NTA, candidates can apply online at the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in. The exam is scheduled from April 05 to 11, 2020. JEE Main is conducted in online mode only.

The JEE Main application form correction facility is only one-time opportunity given to the candidates, so candidates need to correct their details carefully. Correction Window will be available from March 08, 2020.

JEE Main 2020 was held from Jan 6, 2020 till Jan 9, 2020 and the phase 2 will be held from April 5, 2020 till April 11, 2020. Candidates need to know what modification they have to do, once they have successfully completed Application Form.

There is only one opportunity given to JEE aspirants for correcting their details (Personal) which they had filled in the Application form. Also, only one opportunity is given to them to edit JEE Main Application Form. JEE Main 2020 Application Form Correction window will available from March 8. The candidates are only eligible to correct particular details once they have completed all the steps and have successfully completed the payment process given in JEE Main Application Form. JEE Main 2020 Application Form

NTA released the information bulletin for April session on February 7. The phase 1 of JEE Main 2020 Application process was started from 3rd September 2019 and the last date of Application form submission is 10th October 2019. Similarly, for phase 2, the Application process started on 7th February 2020 and will conclude on 6th March 2020. All candidates are advised to make sure that they have registered their details correctly because incorrect information in the application form will lead to disqualification of their candidature. Application form can only be filled online. Correction window will be open on the official website from 8th March 2020 to 12th March 2020, as per the NTA.

Candidates can edit their examination centers. It is the only one-time opportunity to correct their details on the application form. It is advised that candidates should be extremely careful as this is the last chance to correct the mistakes. After saving the changes, you will not able to make any change again. 

How to Correct Application Form?

NTA will not consider any request made for corrections after the prescried deadline under any circumstances. Candidates may have to remit an additional application fee (if applicable) while making JEE Main 2020 application form correction. Following are the steps to be followed in order to make corrections in the JEE Main 2020 Application Form:

  • Go to the official website (https://jeemain.nic.in).
  • Login with your application number and password.
  • Enter the details which are displayed once you login.
  • You will find an edit link for application form.
  • Go through the application form carefully and start correcting the wrong details.
  • Once you are done with it, check and recheck all the edited details.
  • Now finally submit, if you think you have entered the correct details.
  • For future purpose, take a printout of the correction application form, once you have successfully submitted the form after correction.

Answer: It is not the compulsion to appear both the paper. Candidate can opt any of the paper of his/her choice but application fee will not be refunded.
